aboard a real dream.

Hello friends. Welcome!
Most of us have a wish or dream in life.
Many experience the dream in sleep,
While others make it happen.
But what if reality begins to feel like a dream?
We sailed off to cruise in the Genting dream.
The Genting dream is a cruise ship for tourist cruises.
The 19 deck cruise ship, which can welcome over 3000 passengers,
Is built by Meyer Werft, one of the world's leading builders of luxury passenger ships.
From the interiors of our cabins to the wonderful facilities on the top deck,
All that we saw was beyond belief.
As the hunger bells started ringing, we headed to the dining section of the ship.
From the Paneer to global food items such as pizza,
The dining section could rightly be called as a foody’s paradise.
After a good dinner, we moved towards the topmost deck of the ship.
As the cruise began her night journey with an exciting tremble,
The cool breeze received us with a fresh hug.
The next hour or so was spent in viewing the miraculous  ocean.
The morning after, we relaxed in the Jacuzzi/a hot bathtub full of foam.
We had double the fun in the water park of the cruise than in Sunway lagoon, Malaysia.
Be it swimming, juggling, an impressive Chinese performance or the DJ show,
The various activities on the ship made the rest of the day excitingly busy.
And as I am beginning to fall in love with the German albeit in the form of learning it as a foreign language,
I had to also appreciate the engineering skills of Germany.
All this and much more we saw and experienced,
It was as though we were aboard a real dream.

Surprisingly superb Singapore!

Hello friends. Welcome!
Through traveling, we realize how so similar and still unique, is everyone in the world.
After being mesmerized in Malaysia, we headed towards our next surprise.
More than what we see during such trips,
The people who are with us from various walks of life show how beautiful life really is.
The journey was so joyfully funny with our chatter, laughter and games like bingo,
We knew not how time had flown by.
Accompanied by popular songs and some of our co traveler’s singing,
We arrived in the city of discipline, Determination and Dedication, Singapore.
Singapore, Malay. Singapura and Sanskrit. सिंहपुर,
Is a state-city and island country in Southeast Asia.
Gladly accepting the evening’s invite, we entered Gardens by the Bay.
This Singaporean super-park, a 250 acre home to over a quarter of a million rare plants,
Is a wonder beyond words.
The Flower Dome, the world's largest columnless glasshouse,
Greeted us with its gathering of numerous species of plants from
Parts of Australia, South Africa and South America.
With our cameras trying to capture the beauty surrounding within Smartphones and
Eyes engraving everything in our hearts,
We entered into the cloud forest.
The cloud forest is a themed nature park showcasing The Lost World,
The Crystal Mountain, etc at various levels.
The light and sound show became a perfect goodnight call for an exciting day ahead.
Next morning was spent shopping in the big bazaar of Singapore,
The Little India made for Indian residents.
The afternoon saw us photo-stopping at various places like
The Parliament House, City Hall and others.
The evening took us on a ride of the Singapore flyer. The giant wheel/the observation wheel,
Has a height of 165 Meters, the second highest in the world.
We were wished good morning by the birds in the Jurong Bird Park with their funny show.
The wax sculptures in Madame Tussaud's and
Maritime experiental museum were also great sites as the afternoon began.
The Typhoon Theater, a 360-degree multimedia theater, too, was a great Experience.
The Sea aquarium was a site to behold…. The world’s largest Oceanarium,
That has over 800 species of marine animals.
An adventurous day was spent at Universal studios!
We had great fun riding through the themes like Far Far Away, Madagascar and others.
With a fabulous light and water evening show, we said goodbye to the stunning Singapore.

Mesmerized by Malaysia.

Hello friends! What’s up?
The incredible experiences which surround us as we explore this place called earth,
Becomes our only treasure in the form of memories.
To find out if we could have something of this sort in our lives as well,
We took a trip to one of the 4 Asian tigers, Malaysia.
Taking off from India in the strongly air-conditioned Malindo airlines,
With a group of some 30/35 tourists as our jolly company,
We touched down in Kuala Lumpur, the largest city and the national capital of Malaysia.
After a breakfast of so-called Indian food
That made us appreciate the cooking skills of our Mothers and the taste of Indian spices,
We visited and took photos at places like
The national mosque, the high court building, the king’s palace, etc.
The afternoon welcomed us in the form of a scenic gondola/cable car ride!
We enjoyed through the clouds and cool greenery
And then,
Arrived at Genting highlands and the world’s largest hotel of over 7000 rooms,
*The first world*!
The Genting highlands, including the first world hotel, was built by Lim Goh Tong beginning from 1965.
The evening saw us shopping in the plaza, walking around the hotel,
Checking out the different shows or playing in the Casino.
The next day’s excitement began with an uphill visit to the Batu Caves/Tamil பத்து மலை) or the 10th Caves.
Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Malaysia.
It’s one of the most popular Tamil shrines outside India, and is dedicated to God Murugan.
The cleanliness and spiritual atmosphere of the place gave everyone
After the caves, we visited Putrajaya – the Administrative capital of Malaysia. There we saw from outside obviously, the PMO of Malaysia.
The Petronas Twin Towers, the largest twin skyscrapers in the world,
Welcomed us with their incredible view of the city
And their fantastic architectural style designed by Argentine architect César Pelli.
The rest of the day was spent touring the KL tower and shopping at the Berjaya Square.
The 3rd and last day of our trip in Malaysia found us enjoying the water-rides and slides
To the fullest in the Sunway Lagoon, the water park of Malaysia!
Well, most of the day was spent at Sunway happily enjoying the various rides.
As the sunset came in with a temporary halt of slight rains,
The time had come to say a cheerful goodbye to the Mesmerizing Malaysia.
So friends,
Till our next destination!
