Might remember the first few months of going to college.

New people… Different situations…

The comfortable school is now behind, as we step into another world to find the life of our kind!

Many of us have to travel and stay in another town or city.

As we somehow adjust to the unknown environment around us,

People whom we have never met before,

Come in our lives to make us better and brighter!

With these people then, we begin to have fun and study,,

Many become good friends,

Some remain only as acquaintances,

And a few become the best of the buddies!

The joy of sharing and

The skill of caring,

You find this type of true knowledge,

Only when you go to college!

Life on the campus is full of amazing stories,

Where you might perhaps see the birth of love birds, have new experiences

And surely a place for making   lots of lifetime memories!

The chill; time with friends… The movies… Or even just hanging around with one’s own cool gang…

This might all be just  to pass the moment,

But as we progress ahead in life,

Such experiences are what gives us energy!

I believe life in college has an  important role in shaping our personality.

Coming across unknown hobbies,

It might happen that we meet a professor who motivates our childlike curiosity!

It’s true that the purpose of going to college is to build our careers….

But it is also where life happily says, cheers! 

hobbies? Means happiness!

During childhood, every one of us enjoyed to do something. Right?

It used to be anything from drawing, playing, etc.

Later on we grow up and then Those pleasant times remain with us only as past experiences.

We go to the school, college or to do our jobs or business.    Throughout the day, because of one or the other event, we get busy.

But even through all this, there’s some or the other thing which we love to do… For that particular activity gives pure happiness and refreshes us with new energy!

And that enjoyable activity is known as a hobby.

But just think… Go back down the memory lane...

You could just start that hobby right now! And surprisingly you might find that now, your hobbies might have changed!

You might be interested in the art of cooking,

The magic which changes raw material into delicious food!

Or you could begin to explore the wonderful world of books in a new way!

Discovering your own world a little more… Or the world you live in… Traveling can be also exciting!

These are just a few examples amongst the many you could explore, experiment with!

An activity which doesn’t cause any physical, mental, emotional, professional, social or financial damage and that one enjoys doing is a nice hobby to have!

In my opinion, having any sort of hobby is like a recharge plan of unlimited positivity!

A hobby can be quite beneficial as well!

For example…

Learning a new language not only gives you the opportunity to experience a different culture,

But also amazing friendships!

And as we speak about language-learning,

A popular   foreign language like German has many professional advantages!

In today’s stressful and uncertain world,

I believe hobbies means happiness!

It’s a new beginning…

Yes friends! Learning a different, unknown language is indeed a fresh, diverse chapter of life!

As I often say,

Language isn’t just a method of communication, but also one of life’s many celebrations!

In my opinion,

It is not sufficient to know some rules of grammar,

Not enough to just be the ordinary language learner.

To enjoy the process of acquiring any language,

One should be a Language-lover!

Learning a language is one of those few things,

Which doesn’t have any age-limits!

The ability to speak in a foreign or better to say, in a second, another language

Is so amazing that,

We can make new, different friends!

But, nowadays, life has got so much busy.

Attending regular classes, traveling, not always possible.

Is now online and easy!

Learning a language, over time, doesn’t feel like studying at all!

It just happens naturally.

Another advantage is that,

The one who’s practicing a new language,

Is ever-curious!

So! How are you?

Friends, what if there were no inventions? No discoveries?

Our life would be so much different! How? Let me explain.

Let’s start from; the start itself! If the humans living in the Stone Age

Hadn’t found how to light a fire,

We all would be still eating raw, tasteless food!

Once, someone saw something shining in the sky and wondered,

What’s this thing which changes its shape/size every night?

Then later, somebody gave that shining thing in the sky the name, moon!

Curiosity! It is such a delightful aspect of our personality!

Because of this curiosity, our ancestors wondered and discovered so many amazing things!

Curiosity, I believe, is the true mother of science.

With the eagerness to explore,

The Portuguese set off to find America…

And then, as everyone knows, they discovered the incredible India!

Although curiosity has encouraged humans to experiment, to go beyond the everyday bubble,

Obeying this curiosity without thinking can

Sometimes send us tumbling head-over-heels into small or big trouble!

By the way my friends,

This curiosity is married!

Yes! Married to…. An experience we call as travel

When we travel, new mysteries unravel!

How can you and I make this curiosity our friend?

Simple! Along with browsing our social media feed,

Let’s reserve some time from our busy lives to read!

Mother tongue or trying to learn? German equals fun!

Speaking or learning? German equals fun!

How?

For example. A friend of yours has his/her Birthday and you wish to give a Gift.

But wait! Think again.

Because, in German Gift means?  Poison!

So funny! And that’s probably one of the reasons why

I love Languages! Ich liebe Sprachen!

Now some funny logic… we put shoes on are feet.

But Germans put them in their hands as well!

And in my opinion, they’re   absolutely right!

Because Handschuhe, means gloves!

Start learning German with useful and easy to understand explanations now!

There are some words in the German language, 
Which are quite lengthy. For example, 
Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung
Any guesses as to the meaning of such a long word?
Don’t think too much! Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung simply means, 
Speed limit!
In Germany, the rock is used as cloth!…. The reason?

Rock simply means; a skirt!

I believe that any good rat from the people always improves our life..... Do you agree????....

You would be thinking, have I gone mad?

How can a Rat, good/ bad, improve the life of anyone?

And why would people give such a thing to me anyway?

Because in German, Rat means advice!

Friends. A language, in my opinion,

Is not only just a way of communication between the people,

but also an amazing method of expressing their affection!

Speech, a unique ability of humans,

is so great that we often take it for granted!

Being able to express oneself is so satisfying, so liberating!

Languages can make us laugh! For example…

In English we say, LIGHT. Correct?

But in German that’s? licht! Interestingly amusing!

I think, languages do shape the culture. Do you agree?

Here’s what I mean. Language helps in expression.

And through this, Authors  give birth to unbelievable imaginations!

Literature not only redecorates the cultures,

But also, magnifies the beauty of words,  the gemstones of languages!

What better way to enjoy and gain knowledge from a language than through reading?

A healthy surprise! Being able to speak more than one language,

Helps the brain by preventing diseases like dementia!

Friends. Through this blog, not only do I write,

And now that I come to think of it,

This is so amazing! Communication!

With the bloom of email or social media, we take conversing with each other for granted….

But, centuries ago,

Messages would be delivered by people

Traveling a large amount of distance on foot or horseback!

Then, came letters, telegrams, telephone, mobile phone calls/text messages, emails

And nowadays, its instant messaging or social media!!!

Most of us have/are experiencing this… then why am I telling all this to you?

Because,

Even though we criticize today’s digital communication systems

By saying that they’ve brought barriers between people, that people don’t speak face to face with one another,

That youngsters are always stuck to their smartphones and the like,

In my opinion,

We all should, just once, look at the positive side.

Due to today’s social media,

A Mother can easily stay in contact with her son/daughter who’s an entire continent away and vice versa

Because of this instant messaging,

A message is forwarded many times, a public request is made

And people with their kind hearts,

Send money to an unknown person and a life is saved!!!

Negativity is all around us…

But just a simple good morning/GM message from our dear ones is watt, I think, in today’s busy times, keeps us on the move!
