Mesmerized by Malaysia.

Hello friends! What’s up?
The incredible experiences which surround us as we explore this place called earth,
Becomes our only treasure in the form of memories.
To find out if we could have something of this sort in our lives as well,
We took a trip to one of the 4 Asian tigers, Malaysia.
Taking off from India in the strongly air-conditioned Malindo airlines,
With a group of some 30/35 tourists as our jolly company,
We touched down in Kuala Lumpur, the largest city and the national capital of Malaysia.
After a breakfast of so-called Indian food
That made us appreciate the cooking skills of our Mothers and the taste of Indian spices,
We visited and took photos at places like
The national mosque, the high court building, the king’s palace, etc.
The afternoon welcomed us in the form of a scenic gondola/cable car ride!
We enjoyed through the clouds and cool greenery
And then,
Arrived at Genting highlands and the world’s largest hotel of over 7000 rooms,
*The first world*!
The Genting highlands, including the first world hotel, was built by Lim Goh Tong beginning from 1965.
The evening saw us shopping in the plaza, walking around the hotel,
Checking out the different shows or playing in the Casino.
The next day’s excitement began with an uphill visit to the Batu Caves/Tamil பத்து மலை) or the 10th Caves.
Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Malaysia.
It’s one of the most popular Tamil shrines outside India, and is dedicated to God Murugan.
The cleanliness and spiritual atmosphere of the place gave everyone
After the caves, we visited Putrajaya – the Administrative capital of Malaysia. There we saw from outside obviously, the PMO of Malaysia.
The Petronas Twin Towers, the largest twin skyscrapers in the world,
Welcomed us with their incredible view of the city
And their fantastic architectural style designed by Argentine architect César Pelli.
The rest of the day was spent touring the KL tower and shopping at the Berjaya Square.
The 3rd and last day of our trip in Malaysia found us enjoying the water-rides and slides
To the fullest in the Sunway Lagoon, the water park of Malaysia!
Well, most of the day was spent at Sunway happily enjoying the various rides.
As the sunset came in with a temporary halt of slight rains,
The time had come to say a cheerful goodbye to the Mesmerizing Malaysia.
So friends,
Till our next destination!
